How would you present yourself as a winner in the best way in a resume? Use action verbs.
When writing your work history section in a resume ( i.e. – professional background ), you may want to start each sentence with the right action verb that best describes your activities – To express how well you performed at your previous jobs.
These action verbs are power words that can effectively present you as a person who achieves something in his career.
Therefore, list and quantify your achievements in a sense of direction to the prospective employer and in a way that these highly reflect the positions’ requirements – Those position you are applying for.
Leadership
Some action verbs that demonstrate key leadership skills: Initiated, directed, innovate, originated, guided, coached, led, lead the path, developed, inspired, motivated, established, dominated, achieved, influenced, planned and forecast.
Management
Action words for managerial positions that showed ability to manage, supervise and delegate are: Organized, administered, coordinated, supervised, controlled, oversee, managed, took charge of, maintained, handled, assigned, and dictate.
